Sourcing Head - Knitwear Manufacturer

We have an exciting career opportunity with our client for Sourcing Head role. It's a senior level role which requires good vendor management and negotiation skills.

KRA's:

1) Strong experience into Sourcing (Knit wear manufacturers specially women's bottom wear ) at Pan India level

2) Proficient in coordinating with Vendors, negotiations etc

3) Good team management, Communication skills. Should be able to establish long lasting relationships with leading manufacturers.

4) Ability to use network extensively to source best possible manufacturers basis requirements .

Typical tasks/ work profile:

- Market trends

- Idea about market trends; New trends in development

- Process Creation and implementation

- Supplier Evaluation

- Develop the quality norms and standards

- Maintaining records and sample library

- Establish category matrix and savings target, monitor performance and communicate to stake holders

- Develops runs and analyses reports regarding key business measures

- Team management/Negotiation skill/Supplier Relationship

- Source and develop supplier capability to align with sourcing strategy

- Build and maintain supplier relations and resolve issues

- Direct and manage the sourcing to execute merchant strategies

- Lead the sourcing team to collaborate with CFTs

- Evaluate performance with respect to timely delivery as well as compliance to quality standards
