Supplier Sourcing and Management

KRA: Identify and establish relationships with reliable and quality suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished goods (nightwear).

Key Results:

- Develop and maintain a network of suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors.

- Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable terms for raw materials and finished products.

- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance on factors like lead time, cost, and quality.

- Ensure suppliers adhere to ethical practices (fair wages, working conditions, environmental responsibility).

2. Product Development Collaboration

KRA: Collaborate closely with the design and product development teams to ensure sourcing meets the brand's aesthetic, quality, and cost requirements.

Key Results:

- Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials needed for product development.

- Propose materials or manufacturing techniques that align with seasonal trends and consumer preferences.

- Ensure that new collections (e.g., summer or winter nightwear) are sourced in a timely manner to meet production schedules.

3. Cost Control and Budget Management

KRA: Control costs related to sourcing while ensuring quality standards and profitability.

Key Results:

- Deliver on cost savings targets without compromising quality.

- Monitor expenses related to procurement and supply chain, making adjustments where necessary to stay within budget.

- Manage inventory effectively to avoid overstocking or stockouts, which may affect sales.

4. Quality Assurance

KRA: Ensure the quality of sourced materials and finished products meets brand standards.

Key Results:

- Conduct regular quality inspections at different stages of the sourcing and manufacturing process.

- Ensure products are in compliance with international standards (e.g., eco-friendly materials, skin safety).

- Implement a system for quality checks and feedback loops to suppliers for improvements.

5. Timely Delivery & Logistics Management

KRA: Ensure that sourced materials are delivered on time to meet production and sales deadlines.

- Work with logistics and supply chain teams to track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.

- Monitor lead times and set up contingency plans for potential delays.

- Regularly review and optimize transportation and logistics costs.

6. Market Research & Trend Forecasting

KRA: Conduct market research to stay on top of consumer trends, fabric innovations, and emerging styles in women's nightwear.

- Source fabrics and materials that align with consumer preferences and fashion trends.

- Ensure the sourcing of sustainable or innovative materials (e.g., organic cotton, bamboo fabrics) where applicable.

- Stay updated on market pricing trends to negotiate better contracts with suppliers.

7. Sustainability and Compliance

KRA: Implement and promote sustainable sourcing practices, ensuring compliance with environmental and ethical standards.

Key Results:

- Source eco-friendly and sustainable materials (such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, etc.).

- Work with suppliers who meet the company's sustainability goals and ethical standards (e.g., fair labor practices).

8. Vendor Development & Relationship Management
