Sourcing Group Manager (RM – Oral care Wellness)

Position open with a leading FMCG company in Gurgaon. Candidates having good experience in sourcing, Raw Material procurement can share their profile

NOTE- Experience in OTC, Wellness or Nutritional products is mandatory.

JD-

Responsible for sourcing raw materials for the entire Oralcare & Wellness Care products- Svarjiksara, Nimbukamalam, Essential oils, Petroleum Jelly, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Silicas,Xanthan Gum, Strontium Acetate, Titanium Dioxide etc & other RM’s for NPI’s

- Develop & implement sourcing strategies for Raw Materials, Bulk Drugs and Ayurvedic preparations for the 2 P & 3PM Sites, ensuring seamless flow of RM’s without hindrance to production at sites at strategic level

- Ensure procurement of RM’s at optimized costs to meet the financial objectives within budgeted/ approved rates & delivering improved cash flows across the spend category.

- Drive cost saving programs “Fusion” as cost champion & deliver In-Plan savings, drive de-risking of strategic categories with cross functional team & support delivery of value track initiatives.

- Develop and support linkages with external knowledge base to strengthen category intelligence, supplier development and improve delivery of procurement initiatives.

- Extend timely support to meet the F2 standard setting process, PPV calculations, LE submissions & coordinate for commercial procurement

- Drive SGM focus in existing categories and new categories to be introduced for NPD

- Manage and create processes to ensure Procurement deliverables for NPD Projects for Wellness/ Oralcare NPI’s involving in providing RM cost to EBT, vendor developments through SOSS support and to ensure RM’s are delivered for trails/ commercial runs. Identify cost saving initiatives to support Gross Margins.

- Develop sourcing strategies for Ayurvedic RM’s such as Svarjiksara & Nimbukamalam. Also develop & align sourcing strategies for Wellness care Products with Global strategies and ensure execution & continues review.

- Drive Risk Mitigation across Oralcare & wellness RM’s across all sites

- Drive Supplier Relation Management initiatives across all key spends- Svarjiksara, Nimbukamalam, Petroleum jelly, Essential oils, Glycerin, Sorbitol, Silicas, Xanthan Gum, Strontium Acetate, Titanium Dioxide etc

- Create information packs for teams and periodic visibility to Leadership

- Engage with Hub LT and Regional SGMs for Commodity Forum, Regional Source Plans, Supplier Development, Risk Mitigation and Cost savings Projects.

- Work with Global Procurement team (Hub2) on synergies across oralcare and wellness commodities and drive cost optimization opportunities between domestic sourcing and imports

- Lead Key COGS saving projects with members across supply chain (RnD, CQ, SQSS, CSS, Sites) e.g. development of Ingenious vendors for cost reduction of strontium Acetate,Xanthan gum

- Responsible for driving MIS and Logistics for RM Cell including Performance Monitoring, KPIs and driving actions with supply base to enable continuous improvement.

- Driving Working Capital initiatives (Inventory and Payment terms) across entire OTC /Nutritional RM Portfolio
