Big4 has been mandated to recruit a Sourcing Analyst/Manager - Cement Industry for one of the top accounting organization for multi locations.

Job Title: Sourcing Analyst/Manager - Cement Industry

Location: Chennai, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore

Experience: Minimum 7+ years

Industry: Cement/Industrial Manufacturing/Auto (Tier I or OEM)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead procurement cost reduction strategies, category strategy development, and process improvement initiatives.

- Redesign Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies for procurement and sourcing efficiency.

- Engage with clients to assess procurement objectives and identify key insights.

- Conduct market trend analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, and industry research to formulate strategic recommendations.

- Solve complex procurement and supply chain challenges through innovative solutions.

- Oversee strategy projects, define objectives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for execution.

- Present findings, facilitate client workshops, and drive implementation of procurement best practices.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.

- Stay updated on industry trends, contribute to thought leadership, and recommend best practices in sourcing and procurement.

Qualifications:

- B.Tech + MBA from a Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges.

- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big 4 or other international business consulting firm, with at least 4-6 years in the operations consulting practice.

- Industry experience in Procurement/Sourcing within Auto (Tier I or OEM), Industrial Manufacturing (including but not limited to Cement, Steel, Chemical, FMCD, etc.).

- Strong procurement/sourcing experience with commodities such as Coal, Zinc, Copper, Steel, Plastics, and Chemical commodities (e.g., Phenol, Caustic Soda).

- Driving procurement cost optimization initiatives.

- Product cost benchmarking and optimization.

- Negotiation with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.

- Open to travel for work-related requirements.
