Job Title : Sourcing Analyst
Reporting to : Procurement Services Manager
Role Overview :
The Sourcing Analyst would need to provide support across the Strategic Sourcing Lifecycle to the Global and Regional procurement organization.
He / she is responsible for the Set-up and Operational aspects of the Procurement Organization :
- Playing an active role in implementation of a Procurement Digitization Roadmap
- Supporting internal procurement customers with sourcing analytics and market intelligence across the Sourcing Lifecycle :
- Recording and tracking value of savings initiatives delivered by category
- Generating supplier-level Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and documenting performance issues
- Supporting the Global and Regional Team with the Procurement Budgeting Cycle
- Continuously striving to improve own performance and actively driving own development plan
The Sourcing Analyst is an integral member of the Procurement Services Team. The team supports Global and Regional Procurement by providing Contract Management and Market Intelligence input.
Key Skills Needed :
- Advanced Excel Skills and data visualization capabilities
- Mathematical & statistical skills to help gather, measure, organize, and analyze data
- Ability to think strategically about the information that will help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and to communicate the value of this information effectively.
For example, understanding the Commodity movement (viz. Crude, Plastic Resins), tracking those and suggesting different courses of action, to take benefit of the market movement
