At Source.One, we are building an E-commerce 3.0 platform for Industrial raw materials. There are some major differences in the B2B E-commerce market vs a B2C market (like Amazon, Flipkart etc). For instance, in the B2B market, it is very di- cult to push customers to adapt to a new technology given that the smallest customer is a HNI (High Networth Individual). Another example is the volume of trade. In B2C, the average transaction value maybe around Rs. 100-500. In B2B market the minimum transaction value would be around Rs. 5 Lakhs. There are several such interesting differences which makes working in this market a very unique and fun experience.
Designation: Product Manager
Job Description :
1. Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
2. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
3. Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements.
4. Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
5. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
6. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
Requirement
- Degree in product design or engineering
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- Highly effective cross-functional team management
- Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies
- Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
