Sony Pictures Networks - Lead - User Acceptance Testing - SonyLIV OTT Platform

Sony Pictures Networks India is seeking an experienced Lead User Acceptance Testing. The incumbent will be responsible for heading User Acceptance Test for SonyLIV OTT platform.

POSITION SPECIFICATION:- Education B.E./B.Tech, MCA or Equivalent Computer Degree Experience 10-12 years with Experience in User Acceptance Testing, Quality Assurance and Functional Testing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Be the representative of end users and have deep understanding of the user behaviour and use cases.

- Develop effective test strategy and test plan

- Build and manage UAT Team and partners for thorough testing for new releases as well as production setup

- Participate in grooming calls and solutioning calls for better test case definition

- Ensure that the implementation is as per requirements and Acceptance Criteria

- Partner with Product Managers to come up with test cases

- Onboarding and managing testing partners for domestic and international functional testing

- Conducting functional tests across platforms and geographies where applicable

- Validating QA test reports

- Estimate the testing to be done and negotiate with management to acquire the necessary resources.

- Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.

- Ensure proper configuration management and test environment for test execution.

- Schedule the tests for execution and then monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.

- Co-own and manage Beta Test Program along with Tech QA team

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:-

- Thorough understanding of platform (iOS, Android, Web, TVs etc.) specifications and behavior

- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence

- Prior experience in managing UAT Testing for OTT applications preferred

- Should be able to efficiently communicate, capture all the required details and logs for engineering team to resolve the issues.
