JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the administration of payment scheme obligations and practice governance within the Payment Schemes Cash and Banking Services business. The role guides interpreting payment scheme compliance rules and able to map it to the Operations team and build operating models. previous experience of Payments scheme obligations e.g. CHAPS/SEPA/T2/MIFID will count as a plus point.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
- Process bank deposits
- Reconcile financial statements
- Prepare, send and store invoices
- Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
- Submit tax forms
- Identify and address discrepancies
- Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Solid knowledge and previous experience in working on various complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
- Previous experience of Payments scheme obligations e.g. CHAPS/SEPA/T2/MIFID will count as a plus point.
- Ability to pull an overall complex picture together from stakeholder interviews and documentation Ability to create documentation to provide metrics and evidence to help validate decisions and strategic direction
