Solutions Head - Building Material Product - Business Strategy Planning

Position Overview - We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Solutions Head to lead our Building Material Product Solutions division. As the Solutions Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a wide range of services, including Kitchen & Wardrobe Installation, Tiling, Painting, Electricity & Lighting, and Home Security Solutions. The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the highest standards of quality and adherence to timelines in both commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the Building Material Product Solutions team, providing clear direction, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

2. Develop and execute strategies to achieve business objectives, emphasizing quality, timeline management, and exceptional customer service.

3. Take ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial planning and scoping to project execution and completion.

4. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients and understand their needs and requirements for customized building material solutions.

5. Utilize your first-hand experience in executing commercial and residential projects to provide expert guidance and solutions to customers and team members.

6. Implement best practices and process improvements to optimize project workflows, minimize risks, and ensure efficient project delivery.

7. Oversee vendor selection and management, ensuring that all materials and services meet the required quality standards.

8. Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or deviations from the plan promptly and effectively.

9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards in all project activities.

10. Foster a customer-centric culture within the team, consistently focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and exceeding their expectations.

11. Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.

12. Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and technologies to continuously enhance the product offerings and services provided by the division.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Masters degree would be an advantage.

2. Proven track record with at least 12 to 15 years of experience in executing and managing

commercial and residential projects involving Kitchen & Wardrobe Installation, Tiling, Painting, Electricity & Lighting, and Home Security Solutions.

3. Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and industry best practices.

4. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively within defined timelines and budgets.

5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively dealing with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
