Role:

An Infrastructure Solutions Architect is responsible for the translation of business and technical requirements into solution sales that are consistent with Company strategic business focus.

- By applying Infrastructure Industry related technical acumen, relationship development and consultative selling skills, they drive business development and establish key client relationshipsThis role brings a strong foundation of in-depth infrastructure knowledge, together with PreSales and scope management expertise, to effectively design and deploy effective, high impact technical and business process solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Align with appropriate sales/delivery vertical team members to represent Company Infrastructure management services and solutions

- Own complex proposals;conduct final review, edit proposals and approve technical content

- Develop service and technology solution models/packages; Transformation solutions and Pricing models in close consultation with business teams

Use knowledge and understanding of the below Infrastructure areas to credibly and persuasively articulate the features and benefits of these services / products and their business value to the customer (not limited to)

- Cloud

- Infrastructure Automation

- Datacentre

- ITSM process and tools

- DevOps

- Database, Server, Storage, Networking, Unified Communication, Security

- Service Desk

- Determine how industry trends, product announcements and advances in technology may impact the customer and assess potential opportunities

- Develop successful relationships with inside sales, field sales, partners and customers while supporting the objectives of the sales team

- Architect and design solutions with supporting technologies while maintaining customer’s budget and environment restrictions. Ensure that proposed solutions when implemented meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer

- Work with the sales team to identify, gather requirements for solutions, and draft proposals

- Facilitate technical planning architecture sessions with the clients

- Develop project plans, resource requirements, budget estimates, Statement of works

- As a trusted advisor, build in-depth knowledge of clients’ business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience:

- 10-12 Yrs. experience

- Experience with Infrastructure services and technologies (Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, ITSM tools etc...)

- Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills

- Willingness to travel to client locations (up to 40%)

- Good knowledge and understanding of infrastructure management services.

- Ability to understand the business requirements and convert them into solution designs

- 5-7 Yrs. in system integrator role

- Proven Solutions consulting experience in large organizations
