- Good understanding of sales process, entire Bid Management process i.e. proposal development / presales support function (opportunity qualification, preparing sales presentation, pursuit specific research, defining strategy, defining win themes & value proposition, pricing, managing stakeholders, preparing pipeline report and win/loss analysis).
- Broad knowledge across multiple technology areas and be cognizant of the emerging technologies to arrive at compelling technology and business solutions.
- Understanding Customers business requirements, existing engagements and conceptualizing solution mechanism to meet those requirements
- Generate leads for new business opportunities from existing & new clients basis field experience
- Solicit and bring business from newer accounts
- Achieve planned Order Booking targets annually at acceptable Gross Margin Levels
- Should have a mechanism to generate leads and drive them to closure.
- Follow up the assigned leads and arrange timely meetings with the prospective B2B clients
- Research the dynamics of prospective client institutions alongside creation of project strategies
- Prepare and Review proposals, submit quotations, presentations and proposals to the prospective leads
- Undertake active and timely follow-up for early closing of deal
- Handle negotiations and finalize business deals
- Drive forward company's business growth objectives by surpassing assigned Business Targets
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and alliances in areas related to Core Business Development
- Track market intelligence particularly relating to new opportunities and competition, related to company's offerings
- Assist the Manager in devising product pricing strategies for clients across verticals
- Provide insights to the Marketing Team for greater product visibility basis field experience
- Assist in project supervision, conduct periodic reviews of the team and report the progress to the Manager / Department Head
- Presentations on Managed IT Services offerings to the CXO of potential clients.
- Very good in verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Experience in General Management, managing cross-functional teams, communicating with a wide variety of audience (both technical and non-technical), working with other 3rd party vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of effective, optimal and profitable solutions
