I) Position Summary:
- The role of a Solution Consultant in Unified communications involves deep expertise and contributions to design a modern digital workplace solution.
- Solution consultant has to act as subject matter expert to provide communications solutions to organizations to improve customer experience, employee experience and productivity.
This role demands following:.
- Understand customer business challenges & drivers.
- Create a technology enabled solution using Ishan's own product offering and various available OEMs.
- Keep abreast of modern technologies to create digital transformation.
- Understand various industry segments & corresponding technology use cases.
- Design comprehensive solutions with an understanding of business case.
- Work across various OEMs and maintain good relationships.
II) Person Specification:.
a) Essential Qualifications:.
Graduate in Engineering Experience: 7-12 years.
MBA preferred.
OEM certifications such as CCVP, MS Teams administrator, O365, Google workspace.
Pre-sales exposure is highly desirable.
b) Requisite Skills:.
Technical.
- Familiarity & Experience on designing cloud collaboration solutions MS Teams Direct Routing, MS Teams Operator Connect, WebEx calling.
- Experience on on-premise PBXs such as Avaya, Matrix, Asterisk, Freeswitch, Free PBX.
- Experience on designing Video solutions based on Poly, Cisco, Yealink, Logitech.
- Understanding of VOIP solutions & Protocols - SIP/H.323.
- Understanding of regulatory framework in India such as OSP.
- Experience on various voice gateways such as Audio codes, Ribbon, Oracle.
- Experience on designing Contact centre technology solutions based on Cisco UCCX/PCCE/UCCE, Genesys Engage/CX Cloud, Avaya etc.
- Knowledge on WAN networks.
Functional.
- Provide solutioning support to sales teams for specific deals.
- Create solution design documents, respond to RFI/RFQ/RFPs.
- Create and deliver value to customers through capability and solution defense presentations, own product demos, customer workshops and proof of concept deployments.
- Create point of view documents for customers & internal CFTs for industry knowledge.
- Work closely with teams like Enterprise Architects, Product, Engineering & various cross functional teams to create winning proposals.
- Train Sales, Enterprise architects and other cross functional teams.
- Lead important projects that require guidance to project team to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.
- Achieve sales target for the region.
- Able to independently resolve complex projects, issues, challenges encountered.
- Become voice of the customer, participate and drive CFTs for new product incubation, features enhancement and delivery.
- Create efforts estimation, RACI, service designs.
- Operationally responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area.
- Self-driven with problem solving attitude, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.
- Should have the relevant Industry certifications across various different cloud & security technology domains.
- Maintain and manage OEM relationships.
Behavioral:
- Should be Able to articulate the value proposition and bring the TCO and RoI benefits as appreciated by the customer.
- Ability to seamlessly work with various cross functional teams to put together a wining solution proposal meeting the customer's technical requirements.
- Ability to work as a team player.

c) Work Experience.
- Should have 7-15 Yrs. of experience.
- With 4 to 6 years in Presales.
- Experience of catering to Large Enterprises & SMB customers.
- Exposure towards working on RFIs/RFQs/RFPs.
