Job Summary :

The role of the Solution Consultant - Life Sciences is to lead the pre-sales client engagement and post-sales product training to grow and support the Company's Life Sciences business in South Asia. This job will provide an opportunity to engage closely with our Life Sciences clients and prospects, primarily in the Pharma industry, with on-site visits and remote calls. The Solution Consultant would be the - subject matter expert- on Life Sciences domain in general and our LS solutions, in particular. The candidate will be expected to author select though papers to support our thought leadership activities. Performance will be measured by client engagement, subscription retention/renewals, new business helped generate and quality of thought leadership.

Job Description :

- Present Life Sciences solutions as an expert to prospective customers primarily in Pharma industry and primarily in R&D, Intellectual Property, Business Development, and Strategy functions

- Train customers on our Life Sciences products post-sale and on an ongoing basis

- Engage with both users and senior client executives to ensure close understanding of needs and confirm utilization of our solutions

- Proactively develop a plan and engage with current clients to ensure product usage and client satisfaction, and achieve current revenue retention targets

- Develop select expert reports and articles in Life Sciences domain to drive thought leadership

- Deliver exceptional client service, on a consistent basis.

- Maintain an accurate and complete contact file in the sales automation system (CRM) as well as document all travel schedules, face to face meetings, phone contacts

- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager on a permanent or temporary basis.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a corporate environment or research organization

- Preference will be given to those with experience in an expert role supporting sales of information solutions in intellectual property, scholarly research or life sciences domains.

- Deep understanding of Life Sciences and strong familiarity with Indian Pharma industry is expected

- A team player who is independent and takes initiative in ensuring results

- Demonstrable experience of deploying customer driven approach and good customer engagement skills will be preferred

- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills expected

- Willingness to travel (50% or more) is expected

- Doctorate (PHD) in life sciences is mandatory.
