Solution Consultant - End User Computing - IT

Key Position Requirements :

Position: Solution Consultant - EUC

Reports To : Regional PS Manager Requested On (Date)

Location : Delhi

Role : (Specific tasks and the role that the person will undertake)

- Leads and supports the Dimension Data End-User Computing (EUC) Solution offerings including the pre-sales and the implementation activities.

- Develops personal rapport and professional respect with field sales and services teams.

- Prioritizes his/her time to focus on qualified large opportunities with target prospects.

- Enumerate and articulate TCO and ROI supporting investments in EUC Solution.

- Participates in formal account planning workshops for EUC Solution.

- Attends sales calls with relevant clients to identify and analyze potential opportunities for EUC Solution.

- Engages with clients facilitating workshops to jointly develop understanding of their environment, synthesizes findings, draws and presents conclusions.

- Ensures technical compatibility between the client's requirements and the products and EUC Solution offered by Dimension Data.

- Participates in project-specific technical teams.

Experience : (Relevant experience the person must have)

- 4-6 years in the above mentioned capacity specifically as a Microsoft Solution architect or consultant with a large Microsoft Solutions integration firm

- Experience in hands-on delivery of Microsoft Solutions including : Virtualization, Exchange Server & Lync projects will be preferred

- Proven track record developing EUC Solution

- Effective communicator; verbal, written and presentation skills creativity, flexibility and openness to alternative technical and commercial approaches to consulting work

Essential Desirable :

Job-related Skills : (Technical and professional skills that the person must have to be effective)

- In-depth capability and understanding of EUC Solution technologies and their application.

- Experience in analyzing Client infrastructure to ensure that the infrastructure is ready for the EUC Solution.

- Experience in designing and deploying EUC Solution.

- Level 300- 400 Understanding of Microsoft technologies including : Exchange Server 2010, Windows Server Hyper V, Lync

- MCP / MCITP on Virtualization & Unified Communications.

- ITIL foundation certification preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal skills - be able to interface with Senior IT Management staff at customers.

Management / Personal Skills (Non-technical and managerial skills that the person needs to have) :

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Educational Qualification : (Basic educational background that the candidate should possess)

- Good tertiary education in software engineering and computer technologies.

- Advanced skills relating to Microsoft Solutions Architecting will be preferred.

Tests, Certification : (Specific tests that must be applied to candidates; prior certification that they may need)

- EUC Solution

- Certified Microsoft Engineer (MCSE / MCITP)
