Technical Skills Mandatory
- Able diagnose and troubleshoot VDI implementation issues around performance, access and usability.
- Strong in-depth experience on Citrix Products especially with XenDesktop 7.x & 6.x, XenApp 7.x & 6.x, Provisioning Services and its components installation and configuration with troubleshooting mythology at each components level.
- Must have strong Microsoft, Citrix, network design/implementation, troubleshooting, application packaging and integration, and performance tuning skills.
- Good experience on complete build process of each component of XenDesktop and XenApp 6.5 on Windows 2008 R2 / 2012 Servers O.S which is needed to build the Citrix Environment.
- Good scripting knowledge in developing automation of XenApp 6.5, 7.x installation and configuration.
- In-depth knowledge in XD and XA Citrix Policies and optimization
- Experience in scheduling deployment sequences for Application landscape migration including
- Strong in-depth Knowledge on Citrix Provisioning Services for enterprise environments that may include provisioning desktops and servers, configuring Active Directory-based central stores, working with vDisks and configuring target devices etc...
- Implement, maintain and secure roaming profiles and folder redirection to ensure user accessibility and functionality.
- Implement security policies, procedures and technologies to ensure secure system access and control
- Strong in-depth knowledge on licensing, Storefront, Access Gateway and Netscaler products with design and implementation concepts for various clients.
- Configuration and trouble shooting of switches and load balancers especially Citrix Netscaler SDX platform.
- Good Knowledge on Load Balancing and High Availability for network high-availability concepts, Active-Passive and Active-Active, GSLB etc.,
- Good understanding of profile management and GPO.
- Able to define and implement service profiles with UCSM
- Experience in hosting and supporting applications on Citrix
- Working closely with partner technology teams (Windows, Storage, Network and Security) to deliver best-of-breed customer service outcomes.
- Understanding of Cloud Concepts
- Have participated in and lead server and desktop virtualization deployments.
- Perform tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements for application availability and accessibility.
- Assist in project scoping activities.
- Ability to plan ahead, implement as per the scheduled timelines
- Experience in Virtualization Microsoft (Microsoft Hyper-V) and System Center Suite 2012/ 2012R2
- Technically able to understand and implement data center as per design from Architect.
Technical Skills desired :
- Knowledge on Active Directory, Automation, Scripting and Clear understanding on windows Server administration will be an added advantage
- Hands on experience of implementing VMware View based solution will be an added plus
- Able to manage implementation activities onsite of the three infrastructure pillars: Compute, Network & Storage.
- Basic Knowledge & Hands on experience on VDI tools like RES Software, FSLogix, Appsense will be an added plus
- Knowledge on application installation of source exes or packaged msi files.
- Knowledge on streaming application such as App-V etc.
- Scripting Knowledge with windows PowerShell and VB Scripting is desired
- Experience in implementing server/storage solutions in support of virtualized platforms UCS based design, Fiber channel/NAS storage, etc.
- Knowledge about Nexus or NetApp Storage a plus
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with SAN, Server technologies and data center operations.
- Working knowledge of high availability and business continuity from a technology and business process perspective, experience defining RPO/RTO expectations Data replication technologies.
- Understanding of security procedures and practices
- Experience and understanding in IT project management tasks and able to manage customer relationship onsite in role of a PM as need may arise for small term projects.
Other Requirements:
- Engineering degree is Desirable
- Ability to provide 24x7 support and operate in shifts
- Availability to work nights and weekends as required for systems maintenance and critical support.
- Able to multi-task and work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Travel ready for short and medium term trips to implement the solution at different customer places & should be willing to relocate to an onsite location longer term of the Project demands so.
