Position: Solution architect/ Solutions sales consultant (Pre-sales)

Experience - 7-10 years

Location: Pune

Job description:

1. Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.

2. Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to sales organization.

3. Responsible for understanding business and technical problems

4. Responsible for preparing for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process.

5. Responsible for providing feedback from the market to Product Management and Development regarding products including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands.

6. In conjunction with Sales Personnel, develop and conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments, expectations, customer organization, etc.

7. Creating and delivering proposals and presentations

8. Strong networking skills should be able to cross sell IT product and product engineering/solutions

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Minimum of 7-10 yrs of pre-sales experience.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication; self motivated, dynamic, team player, result driven, relationship builder, independent worker

3. Able to communicate technical and business information

4. Excellent interpersonal relation building skills

5. Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements

6. Ability to multi-task and be able to represent multiple solutions and products

7. Ability to understand business processes and business problems

8. Must be currently selling for a small to mid-sized IT Services Company.

9. Software Products/ Services/ R&D Understanding

10. Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible.

11. Should have knowledge on IT security, BFSI domains

12. Must know Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Visio Skills
