Solution Architect - OSS Inventory Management

Job description:

- More than 10 years relevant domain experience in Architecture/ design role for OSS solutions primarily on Inventory management

- Should have good exposure in supporting sales with deal qualification, initial scoping of incoming opportunities, and Bid management for RFP/RFIs which includes RFP/RFI analysis and proposal response.

- Should have exposure in Solution designing & architecting Network Planning/Inventory Solution(Network planning, Network inventory, Discovery and Reconciliation) solution for clients matching with the client requirements and proposing optimal solution to the client.

- Should have exposure as a primary technical interface to the customer during the presales phase.

- Proven experiences in E2E OSS/BSS Software Application Integration towards Service Fulfilment domain include integration with Network & Service Inventory and strong understanding of Network Equipment & Protocols.

- Should have exposure in translating service provider’s requirements into system, application, and process designs.

- Should have experience in any two market leading COTS (Oracle UIM, Telecodia Granite, Amdocs Cramer, GE Small world) product implementation on inventory management and also have experience on Network planning solution using either Telcodria NGNEER or VPI oneplan or similar cots products

- Strong understanding of telecom processes - Lead to Cash (Fulfilment) and Trouble to Resolve (Assurance) process Sound understanding of Next Generation Networks (NGN), Order to Cash End to End Process flows.

- Strong process knowledge across various services and products in telecom domain.

- Experience in Service fulfilment and worked on Provisioning and Service Activation Framework systems.

- Designed and developed Product Order, Service Order work flows for various Network elements.

- Conceptualized adapters for several Network Elements.

- Should be able to Identify and defined different inventory objects and well versed in object modelling using [Circuits, Nodes, Topologies, and Service etc.]

- Sound understanding of Task Engine module

- Able to Identify and defined various Task Types and to defined components like task, grouping of task,Good experience in understanding business logic using Tasks

- Should be able to model Devices in network, Plan & Build, understanding the need and use of Service Catalog and creation of different Service Catalog.

- Good Understanding and implementation of Task Engine/Service Catalog integration and excellent understanding of metadata creation for Ports, Cards, Slots, Shelves and Devices
