Job Description :

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR. " Solution Architect "with 12 + years of experience in Design software systems with various Microsoft technologies and ensure compliance to all architecture requirements.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Building and integrating information systems :

a) Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.

b) Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.

c) Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution,

d) Recommend potential options, which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development

e) Select the most optimal option and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.

f) Assess the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.

g) Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.

2. Supervise/Guide and Resolve technical problems as they arise :

a) Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.

b) Directly assist in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.

c) Assure solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also closely align with the standards guidelines of technology solutions.

d) Influence changes to standards when necessary.

e) Develop and execute solutions which further reduce the percentage of time spent on reactive work.

f) Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

g) Support the architectural aspects of all application projects in peer IT portfolios.

3. Research : Continually research current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.

4. Communication :

a) Inform various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.

b) Communicate the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.

c) Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

d) Provide updates on Business outcomes

TECHNICAL SKILLS :

- Application Development using ASP.NET/C# and PL SQL (SQL Server/Oracle)

- Expert knowledge on JavaScript/jQuery/JSON

- Preferred experience on client-side frameworks (Any one of the following React or Angular JS)

- Good to have front end development skills using HTML/CSS

- Good to have experience on MVC
