Solution Architect - Finance

Solution Architect is responsible for creating and implementing the product architecture that satisfies the intended business requirements of clients. They begin by gathering business needs, learning the requirements' details, and working with stakeholders to provide the desired outcome. Will be the key interface between the client, users, and project manager to provide the best solution based on requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Designing, modifying, and testing product and solution architecture.

- Define high-level architecture and design for the assigned scope that provides solutions to deliver great business outcomes and meet our long-term strategy

- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.

- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates.

- Define and communicate a shared functional and architectural vision of end-to-end product design.

- Work closely and provide inputs to the delivery team for implementation and convert functional specs into technical specs and deliverable products, monitoring the successful progress of the project implementation.

- Provide sign-off on developed product/project implementation (to confirm in line with the specs).

- Work with stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented, and provide supervision and guidance to the development team as and when needed.

- Interact with support and project teams to understand gaps and take up requirements for future releases.

- Review the User Manual and test cases prepared.

- Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.

- Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope.

- Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

- Engage with customers and the sales team to understand current trends in the market to get to understand the current market requirements.

- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

- Analyse current products used within the company and determine ways to improve on solutioning.

- Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.

Requirements:

- Minimum 15 to 20 years of work experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or SME roles in the BFSI domain.

- Strong working experience in system and product architecture in one of the domains: Lending / Loan Origination / Loan Management is a must.

- Possess strong client-facing skills and experience in handling external stakeholders.

- Experience in requirement gathering, creating business use cases and user stories, and documenting the functional/business requirements.

- Hands-on with BRD, FRD, Use Cases, Flow Diagrams, solutioning, data management, and validation of functional scope.

- Should have experience working in project implementation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business.

- Prefer candidature from software products, services, or consulting background.
