- Domain knowledge of supply chain is mandatory

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from requirement definition phase through training, implementation and change management/solution enhancements.

- Perform code reviews and mentor developers for higher effectiveness and efficiency;

- Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions;

- Responsible for development lifecycle and managing technical risks throughout the project;

- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion;

SKILLS ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB EFFECTIVELY

- Excellent project management skills;

- Understands complex database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques;

- Possesses demonstrated work experience with more than one relational database management system;

- Understands the benefits of the various programming languages;

- Proficient in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, Javascript, Other Open Source languages and .Net framwork; Additional Experience of having worked on Order Management Systems in Magento, Open Cart, etc. also preferable.

- Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures;

- Ability to drive the technical direction for projects;

- Understanding and ability to drive best in class project planning, managing and time management practices within the team to ensure highest level of productivity and timely delivery of outcomes and within the given budgets

- Ability to juggle limited resources to deliver on new projects as well as manage change management requests within the shortest time

- Be able to institute a culture of maintaining complete documentation of developments within the team and ensure 100% back-ups and trails are available in the repository.

- Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills;

- Ability to manage and cultivate working relationships with technology and business partners;

- Working knowledge of common integration topologies;

- Skills in integrating solutions (API, web services, etc);
