Solenis - Procurement Analyst

Leverage deep data analytics and data mining skills to deliver insights that will optimize Variable Cost Forecasting and Cost Reduction efforts in the areas of Chemical Raw Materials, Logistics & Indirect/Corporate Services, enable a robust data driven process to improve Cost Forecasting and Cost Reduction Opportunities on a global basis. Reporting to Global Category Directors and Procurement Managers, the procurement analyst will be responsible and accountable for all quantitative analysis in the areas below:

Variable Cost Forecasting :

- Deploy best- in-class pricing analytics, models and research methods to analyze/test

- Development of predictive analytics to forecast future variable cost performance.

- Benchmark and trend actual variable cost performance vs external market indicators

- Provide forward looking variable cost guidance in the areas of Chemical Raw Materials, Logistics and Corporate/Indirect.

- Variable Cost Opportunity Identification

Develop quantitative models to :

- Determine cost savings opportunities across multiple geographies, plants and chemicals.

- Develop - Should Cost models for major materials to assist in Procurement negotiations.

- Purchase Price Variance performance monitoring and reporting: Work with procurement team members:

- Report Purchase Price Variance performance related to purchase price, volume, foreign exchange on at least a monthly basis along with insights and recommendations to track against business plan for each spend area globally.

- Develop additional purchase price performance reporting metrics and methods for Raw Materials, Logistics, Corporate Services/Indirect.

- Devise smart methods for identifying data integrity issues and implement corrective actions.

- Improve capabilities to track cost increases for raw materials from Purchase Order, through Inventory valuation, Manufacturing to COGS.

- Develop professional reports, presentations and dashboards for senior executives

Analytic Models & Dashboard Optimization :

- Develop, optimize and manage Purchasing analytics models (calculators, Should Cost models, price vs payment terms, consignment value models etc.) and create and optimize dashboards for Procurement and corporate management

- Perform analysis for monthly reporting of Purchasing performance for various parts of the global business

- SAP Master Data and Source To Pay process administration maintenance:

- Maintain active processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Manage contract database, monitor lifecycle, contract expiration/renegotiation calendar and contract improvement opportunities
