About SolarSquare:

SolarSquare is Indias leading residential solar brand. We are a full stack brand offering rooftop solar solutions to home-owners, housing societies and small commercial establishments. We have the opportunity to become the category defining brand of our industry and for that we are looking to hire our first branding leader.

About the Role

This is a high-impact role focused on building SolarSquare into Indias most trusted solar brand. The solar industry is at a tipping point, and with no clear category leader, the opportunity to establish brand authority and recall is immense.

Were looking for a brand-first thinker who can shape SolarSquares positioning, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative across all channels. This role requires a strong understanding of brand strategy, storytelling, and consumer insights, translating them into high-impact ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns.

You will own the brands creative direction, voice, and visual identity, ensuring alignment across advertising, partnerships, PR, offline activations, and digital channels. Youll also be responsible for tracking brand perception and campaign performance to refine our messaging and optimize impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Brand Strategy & Positioning: Define and implement a clear, consistent brand strategy that builds trust and recall for SolarSquare across customer segments.

- Storytelling & Communication: Shape the brands voice, messaging, and identity, ensuring alignment across digital, offline, and experiential channels.

- Brand Campaigns & Awareness: Plan and execute high-impact brand campaigns (ATL, BTL, and digital) to establish category leadership.

- Creative & Content Leadership: Work closely with designers, writers, and agencies to bring the brands vision to life through engaging, insight-driven storytelling.

- Consumer Insights & Brand Perception: Conduct research and brand tracking to understand consumer sentiment, fine-tune messaging, and identify new brand-building opportunities.

- Offline & Experience-Led Branding: Drive experiential marketing, activations, and partnerships to engage potential customers and build trust.

- Performance & Impact Tracking: Establish KPIs for brand health, measure ROAS of brand-building activities, and ensure spending is optimized for impact.

Requirements

- 6-10 years of experience in brand marketing, strategy, or storytelling roles in consumer brands, D2C, FMCG, or high-growth startups.

- Experience in building category-defining brands and executing brand campaigns across multiple touchpoints.

- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, storytelling, and communication strategy.

- Experience working with agencies, vendors, and in-house teams to execute brand campaigns.

Compensation: Fixed + Performance Bonus + ESOPs (as per experience)
