Position Name -Lead/ Consultant (Software Licensing / Procurement)

Location: Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore

Compensation: Open

1. Should have negotiated at least 1 publisher's contracts (publisher: Microsoft, Adobe, VMware, Oracle)

2. Can be found at either license solution provider organization / publisher

3. Should have knowledge about pricing mechanism

4. Should be able to negotiate 2 things - terms of contract and price

Job Description -

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible to develop, grow and maintain the local Software Procurement Services Outsourcing Business

- In a global team: develop and maintain a global strategic direction for Software Procurement Services Outsourcing

- Based on the global strategy: Adopt and implement a local outsourcing offering for the [country] market

- Defines and implements the local specifics of the Software Procurement Services strategy based on and aligned with the group Managed Services strategy

- Contributes to the further development of the SoftwareONE Managed Services offerings

- Exchanges experiences and best practices with his colleagues of the global Managed Services network

- Coordinates, monitors and supports the sales activities for Managed Services

- Acts as Software Procurement Services Account Manager for the most important Software Procurement Services customers

- Ensures the local delivery capability for Managed Services

- Is accountable for the service delivery of the local projects

- Hires new employees for the Software Procurement Services team aligned with the Global Software Procurement Services lead

- Coordinates the on boarding and training of SoftwareONE employees involved in Managed Services sales, consulting and delivery

- Includes local specifics in the training concepts provided by the Global Software Procurement Services organization

- Local Software Procurement Services team

- Closely partners and collaborate with other departments and functions including but not limited to BDM- s, Inside sales, shared services center, SAM, TTS, Cloud, IT, BI and Legal to ensure departments and business units understand the Software Procurement Services, the sales organization is able to present and sell the services to prospects and the organization can deliver the SoftwareONE internal contribution in high quality.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

- Required - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (economy or IT)

- Several years working experience in software license sourcing

- Advanced knowledge of software and licensing contract terminology

- Experience in the area of services outsourcing (as customer and/or provider)

- Good project management skills

- Proven negotiation skills

- Excellent relationship management skills and assertiveness

- Good analytical skills and strategic thinking

- Proactive, dynamic and used to work unsupervised

- Strong leadership skills

- Fluent in written and spoken English
