Client Portal is a modern, J2EE, SOA based e-banking solution, which is unique integrated e-business solution offering importers and exporters a full-featured console to seamlessly connect to their banks in order to complete their international trade transactions while simultaneously accessing a wide range of features to follow-up with these activities. Portal provides a state-of-the-art technology and capitalises on the leading expertise of banks to make a global trade transaction successful. This solution also offers Cash, Treasury and Commercial Leading management to bank's corporate customers.
Job Location: Bangalore, India
Responsibilities include
- Project Planning and Management:
Using a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.
Define QA project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; manage risks and issues; prepare and distribute progress reports
Share ownership and accountability to deliver critical releases within budget, on schedule and adhere to defined quality standards.
- Product Owner Support:
Collaborating with product management, development and external customers to deliver innovative, high ROI products and modules
- Team Building:
Promote Team empowerment, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality deliveries
Recruiting new talent and coaching team members to support world class agile teams of 5-15 engineers
Establishment of performance goals for all team members.
- Technical/Architectural Support:
Active participation in architecture/design decisions
Required Domain Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in building innovative, scalable, high performance and secure enterprise-class products
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise SW development/testing, preferably in a distributed team
- 5+ years of exposure in J2EE, SOA, Workflow and Web Services technologies.
- Must be knowledgeable in relational databases (Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL)
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Banking or financial industry experience is a plus
Required Skills
- Excellent technical, problem solving, project management and analytical skills
- Brilliant written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and metrics-based delivery
- Excellent knowledge of building/maintaining automation frameworks
- Previous experience of leading high-performing QA teams of 25-30 members; 2nd level of management preferred
- Ability to shape ideas and opinions through proper communications and networking with key stakeholders using one's knowledge and experience
- Ability to motivate and inspire confidence in others through goal-focused actions
