Software Engineering Manager - Web Application/Mobile Development - IT

We are currently looking to close an Engineering Manager- Web Application and Mobile Development for Topmost business conglomerates in India. The position is to be based in Mumbai

Role Description:

The role involves development and delivery of web application and mobile application and various cloud solutions primarily using Microsoft Cloud technologies. Hands on experience with cloud development is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and business processes.

- Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel and track the completion of project/product.

- Experienced in personnel and project management skills

- Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.

- Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.

- Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce duplication of time and effort.

- Collaborates with other team leaders and departments.

- Closely working with Product Management, Business functions, and Operations team and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace.

- Troubleshoot and debug production issues and be available anytime for escalations affecting the platform.

- Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

- Communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

Key Requirements:

- Overall, 10+ years of experience in various software engineering/software development roles.

- 5+ years of experience in building applications and tools in Microsoft cloud tech stack, preferably deployed on Azure.

- Must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and debug issues in production environment.

- Must have hands -on experience in working with databases e.g. SQL Server, MySQL etc.

- Must have experience in deploying, releasing, and managing production systems

- Expertise in programming in either C#, Node.js or Python; familiarity with GIT/SVN is a must.

- Exposure to trouble-shooting issues that span systems, network, databases, and code.

- Degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics streams or equivalent qualification.

Job Location : Mumbai

Salary Range: Around Rs 45.0-50.0 LPA (although not a limiting factor)
