Softobiz Technologies - Lead Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product's features.

- You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the project manager.

- The successful candidate will have extensive prior experience and specialty in conducting effective requirements gathering sessions with internal product management organisation, analysing, and transforming raw business requirements into functional/technical specifications to be consumed by technology groups, and facilitating sign-off through a diverse stakeholder group.

- A comprehensive understanding of contemporary SDLC frameworks and the ability to work in an Agile setting are required.

Job Responsibilities :

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

- Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data

- Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

- Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels

- Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development

- Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability

- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies.

- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

Experience :

- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

- A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA.

- Ability to take ownership of a client from initiation to go live, through business process mapping, requirements analysis, UAT, go live support.

- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.

- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

Skills :

- Experience with Agile practices and theories - User stories, Product backlog, Sprint backlog, Timebox, etc

- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

- Excellent documentation skills.

- Creativity, motivation, and strong communication;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Practical time management skills for handling multiple projects and goals.

- Superior interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills; and

Technical Skills :

- Project Management Tool such as Jira, Microsoft AzureDevOps,

- Wireframe Tools such as Balsamiq, Lucid chart

- Experience managing SAAS projects

- Knowledge in information technology architecture components, principles, procedures and practices
