Job Description:
Experience:
- The incumbent should have 12-15 yrs of relevant experience required either in the law firms or in-house.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in RE projects.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing company will be added advantage.
Education - B.L/L.L.M.
Responsibilities:
- Handling Regulatory issues and litigation,
- Structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements in relation to all business development and project finance activities,
- Drafting, negotiation, execution and compliance of documentation related to Energy Projects.
- Structuring partnerships, joint ventures and cooperation arrangements and draft relevant documentation,
- Ensuring that all required documentation are maintained and filed as required,
- Coordinate with internal (functional and business) and external counsels/ advisors and instruct the proceedings,
- Support in obtaining necessary registrations and licenses,
- Organizing the TSRs and providing the DDRs,
- Risk analysis, suggesting the risk mitigation measure and carrying the requisite changes.
Skills:
- Experience in Regulatory matters and compliance of energy laws,
- Risk analytical skills in business documents and Tender documents,
- Experience in drafting and negotiating wide range of commercial agreements, ideally in the infrastructure or/and energy sector.
- Extensive understanding of inbound and outbound investment and funding regulations, implications, monitoring downstream investment compliance requirements and filings,
- Superior ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and creatively while integrating legal, compliance and business objectives, and
- Strong organizational skills and being good at managing and prioritizing numerous projects to meet demanding timelines Senior Legal Specialist demanding timelines
