Key Responsibilities:
Brand Management and Strategy
- Develop Brand Strategy, Tone, Voice, and Marketing Plans to support marketing and business objectives
- Strong functional marketing expertise across Social Media Marketing, Brand Communication, Brand Building, Consumer Insights and Content Writing
- Regularly monitor market & competitive landscape to evaluate existing & upcoming opportunities/ challenges
- Undertake regular progress reviews with key stakeholders
- Ensure effective partnership with external agencies, vendors and partners PR and Communications
- Responsible for all communication - both creative and media selection - across all channels. Online creative, social media and also PR.
- Manage press and public relations; Identify trends, monitor current events and influencers, to anticipate opportunities to engage in and/or lead the conversation in all key areas
- Guide the strategy on press outreach, including messaging in press releases, creation of press kits and materials, interview preparation, and responses to media requests
- Manage a monthly cadence for newsletters - both for prospects as well as customers
Social Media
- Ensure effective implementation of Social Media calendar to support brand building efforts, educate prospective buyers about traceability, engage existing customers, and build a strong following across all our channels
- Work with creative, content and digital teams to create relevant content for building engagement/communication and to continuously innovate how we use our existing channels
- Manage marketing spends on social media and brand initiatives with measurable ROI
Skills Required:
- 4+ Years' experience working in a relevant field with preferably 2+ years in SaaS
- Excellent command of the English language is a must, with exceptional email writing skills to pitch to publications and influencers
- Should have a knack for crisp sentence composition, grammar, and syntax.
- Adept with basic design tools such as Canva, knowledge of Adobe Suite would be a plus
- Knowledge of social media management, social listening and analytics tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite etc. mandatory
- Must have prior knowledge of how social content functions on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Quora, etc., and how to optimize this content to generate the best results - from brand awareness to lead generation
- Must be a self-starter, with an ability to generate value independently and in a team.
