Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Finance to join our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading our financial strategy, overseeing financial operations, and driving sustainable growth. As the Vice President of Finance, you will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while providing strategic guidance to the executive team. Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting.

- Assess and analyse financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to the executive team.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis.

- Present financial results to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Cash Flow Management:

- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure adequate funding for business operations.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimise cash flow and minimise financial risk.

- Monitor and manage relationships with financial institutions and key stakeholders.

Risk Management and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

- Implement effective internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets.

- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to team members.

- Foster effective cross-functional partnerships with other departments.

Requirements:

- Advanced Degree or a MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably as a VP of Finance or equivalent.

- Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.

- Demonstrated success in driving financial strategy and contributing to business growth.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

- Strong leadership abilities, including the capability to motivate and inspire a finance team.

- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
