Role : Creating a vision to position Snapdeal as a fashion destination. Key link between Business Development/Merchandising and Technology / Marketing teams. The candidate would lead all merchandising initiative for Fashion promotions and on-going communication.
The person would be responsible for:
- Creating a vision to position Snapdeal as a fashion destination
- Very strong analytical skills, able to collate data from various sources and present actionable
- Planning and executing promotions - delivering against sales & profit targets
- Working with tech teams to enhance user journey and drive conversion
- Identify, plan and action new sales opportunities
- Thorough understanding of ecommerce metrics and website functionality
- Creating and rolling out the entire communication through various channels like website, newsletter's, ads etc.
- Building SOPs / Guides for multiple projects / processes & Ensuring Implementation by various stake holders
- Ensuring Best in Class Customer Experience, Buying Online
- Plan, Create, Execute & Analyse Success and Failure of Concepts Across Fashion Categories in data centric manner
- Create Promotional / Event Calendars to achieve organisational Objectives, with a strong focus on topline and bottom line targets
- Creating Season Looks / Style Guides / Blogs to ensure repeat visits and customers
- Competition Analysis / Market Survey –Understanding the competitors behaviour, new launches, missing categories, price difference, layouts, themes, events & Adjusting Own Plan / Execution.
- Working on website / UI enhancement for fashion and Controlling Hygiene Factors on the website affecting Consumer buying behaviour.
Must Possess:
- Proven ability to drive Sales through Visual Merchandising / Communication
- Strong Aesthetics / Communication and Analytical Skills
- Strong Follow Through to ensure perfect execution of plan
- Decision Making is data and research Based
- Deep Understanding of Fashion Business and Consumer Buying Behaviour
Who we're looking for
- IIM/XLRI / MICA / NIFT Graduate with min 3-4 years’ experience in Sales / Merchandising / Marketing.
- A team player with good communication skills
- Should have worked hands on in development of creatives
- Project management/coordination experience
- Flair for creative design and communication
- Interest in the fashion space
