Senior Product Manager
Skill-Sets :
- SAAS Product Development, Web Application Product Development, Start-ups and Mid-size companies (200-500), Sales/Marketing Product Companies.
- Developed SAAS solutions or major features from Scratch or Transformed existing solutions to SAAS successfully. (Revenue of product, SAAS metrics)
- Strong Start Up Experience
- Anyone who has done marketing products or customer success products or social products could have more useful domain knowledge
- Strong Product Development Background, Budgeting/Cost Management
- Tools Used : JIRA, AHA, and CONFLUENCE or any product management tool
- Advocate and Use Agile Methodology
- Led the team of 4-5 People, Should have 2-3 Product Manager reporting to them earlier
- Worked with Development team of 20-50 People, Experience of working with Customers & Sales teams.
- Experience with Salesforce technologies would be bonus
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- To identify the customer needs and desires by liaising with internal teams and customer interaction to obtain market information.
- To recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
- To assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- To obtain product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
- To provide product metrics for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
- To determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
- To plan, monitor and ensure that the targeted P&L and revenue is achieved.
- To complete operational requirements like product planning (requirement analysis, conceptualization, road mapping) and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- To partner with VP engineering for product execution and periodic reviews.
- To manage product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- To enhance the on the job performance of the product management team by providing periodic feedback and coaching on how to accomplish results.
- To increase the professional and technical knowledge repository by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- To partner with the Marketing and Sales team for Product Marketing.
