SMERA Ratings Ltd. (SMERA) is the country's first & only dedicated rating agency that focuses primarily on the SME segment. Inaugurated on Sept 5, 2005 by the Finance Minister, Mr. P. Chidambaram, SMERA is a joint initiative of SIDBI, Dun & Bradstreet and several leading banks in the country, with an objective of providing ratings to SMEs and facilitating higher and easier flow of credit from the banking sector. SMERA is also approved by SEBI & RBI for ratings of debt instruments and Bank Loan Ratings

We are looking out for Criteria & New product development for Mumbai location.

- Salary would be commensurate with the experience of the candidate.

- A brief job description of the profile in SMERA is given below for your reference.

- New Product Developing and reviewing rating criteria which form the basis of assigning and reviewing ratings

- Regular evaluation of criteria to suit the changing environment

- Development of rating criteria and methodologies for new industries, asset classes and instruments

- Impact analysis (quantitative and qualitative) of macro-economic developments on key credit metrics of corporate, Banks and NBFCs

- Prepare and submit of various analytical reports, responses, presentations to regulators, industry bodies, and clients.

- Developing analytical framework for following rating criteria

- Tackling at criteria level, the analytical challenges arising from changes in the industrial environment, regulations, and accounting standards

- Coordination with team
