a. Understanding of Indian Economic Structure, economic data, their source, their limitations, their methodology of computation and hence how these could be interpreted in the business context

b. Providing comments on developments in Indian economy (E.g. With the release of economic data. Monetary policy, economic survey, budget etc.)

c. Good perspective of global economies and the recent developments in these key economies. Perspective on linkages with India and the knowledge of the areas where the linkages do not exist. Impact of global developments on Indian economy and its sectors

d. A good grasp on the linkages between the macro-economic scenario and the developments in the key sector

e. Econometric model development for forecasting purposes

f. Strong written and verbal communication skills (demonstrated track record on these aspects will be really helpful)

i. Ability to make high content presentations at high levels

ii. Write article for public consumption

g. Proficiency on various software packages such as related to Statistical Analysis (Statistical Analytical Tools) etc.

h. Can create and lead a team at a later stage
