Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate, implement, and manage underwriting strategies and policy changes for various credit products, with a strong emphasis on LAP, LAS, and LRD.
- Oversee credit vendor management processes, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration with external credit partners.
- Prepare and monitor credit risk policies tailored for the SME segment, ensuring alignment with overall risk appetite and business goals.
- Establish a comprehensive Credit Analytics Framework to proactively identify early warning signals, input variables for credit risk processes, and segment-specific risk factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the credit policy agenda, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to policy guidelines in origination systems and decisioning platforms.
- Conduct in-depth market trend analysis and benchmark credit policies against industry best practices to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
- Undertake policy-related underwriting of deviations for products and propose timely policy renewals to adapt to changing market dynamics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in credit policy formulation, underwriting, and portfolio management, particularly with LAP, LAS, and LRD products.
- In-depth understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies, regulatory compliance, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools, credit scoring models, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive policy initiatives.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address potential credit risks proactively.
