Role Description:

- This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Procurement located in Gurugram.

- The Manager Procurement will be responsible for analytical tasks, operations management, communication, inventory management, and customer service on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications:

- Analytical Skills and Operations Management.

- Communication and Customer Service skills.

- Experience in inventory management.

- Strong problem-solving abilities.

- Vendor management experience is a plus.

- Strategic Sourcing & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable contracts. Leverage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement strategies.


- Operations Management: Oversee all procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times. Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.


- Monitor vendor performance, address any issues, and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality and service levels.


- Inventory Management: Collaborate with relevant teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively. Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and optimize working capital. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on procurement activities and addressing their needs.


- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless collaboration.


- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve procurement-related challenges.


- Develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks and improve overall performance. Team Leadership (if applicable): Mentor and guide junior team members (if applicable), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.


- Proven experience in procurement management, demonstrating a strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices., Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with vendors and internal stakeholders.


- Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including negotiation and contract management. Experience in inventory management and demand forecasting. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, procurement software). Preferred: MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS).
