Job Description:
The job of the National Sales Director is a pivotal piece in propagating SmartQ's offering to various Startups. This role requires planning, strategising & executing winning strategies to build a strong sales pipeline and close sales. OKRs for the job is revenue generation and gaining market leadership in B2B space.
The job also demands strong leadership skills to lead a sales team capable of performing and driving great results in the form of revenue .
Responsibilities:
- The National Sales Director will be responsible for the top line of the business.
- He/she will be responsible for driving corporate client acquisitions, revenue targets and also do strategic tie-ups leading to faster conversion.
- This position will report into CBO(Cheif Business Officer).
- The role requires a capable and driven individual to learn industry best practices, deploy an analytical and data-driven approach to building partnerships, and be a natural relationship manager.
- We are seeking highly motivated, intellectually curious individuals, structured thinkers, and quick problem solvers who gravitate toward a process-driven approach to building commercial - partnerships with start-ups and corporates.
- Ability to forecast no./trends with high precision.
- Initiate business development partnerships for the company.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Motivate the team to perform at its best.
- A target-oriented approach which realizes the company's revenue goals .
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline and maintain a high conversion rate.
Requirements:
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
- 5+ years of experience in the business development domain.
- Experience with partnerships and business development.
- Experience in working with the Corporate Sector is a bonus.
- A high degree of focus along with time management and planning.
- Work experience as Head of Business development within similar corporate serving startups .
- In addition to the above, successful candidates will demonstrate strong people and leadership skills.
