SmartCoin - Business Development Manager - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS

SmartCoin is here to provide simple and transparent financial products to the large underserved population in India. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will help us expand our business network to achieve our impactful mission.

Responsibilities

- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.

- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.

- Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examine risks and potentials; estimate partners' needs and goals.

- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

- Update job knowledge by maintaining personal networks.

- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements. Track individual contributors and their accomplishments.

Skills and Qualifications

- MBA from Tier 1 Business school.

- 2+ Years of Experience in BD for startups or in Finance industry.

- Presentation, Prospecting and Closing Skills

- Motivation for Sales, High Energy Level and Professionalism

- Sales Planning and Selling to Customer Needs

- Market Knowledge
