- At smallcase, we are building a new way for retail investors to invest in stocks. The smallcase Platform is based on a new, more efficient equity instrument called smallcases - that are baskets of stocks reflecting a specific theme/idea/strategy. Each smallcase can be treated as an index and uses proprietary quantitative algos/models to objectively select &amp; weight stocks and rebalance them regularly - We're looking to hire for our Investment Products team that primarily develops &amp; maintains smallcases and helps distribute them via multiple channels Role: - Building quantitative financial models for portfolio asset allocation and smart beta strategies for both retail and institutional clients - Generating thematic trade and investment ideas tracking the Indian equity market, world indices, sectors, political happenings, and economic events to generate timely investment ideas and thesis - Modeling new intricate investment performance and analysis tools for retail investors What we are looking for: - Very strong quant, economic and financial background - Experience with ML/AI applications in financial markets - Experience with building financial models in excel VBA, R and python - Basic knowledge of Thomson Reuters products (Eikon, TRKD) - CFA/FRM would be an added advantage - More than 2 year of relevant domain experience
