Sales Manager


JD for Sales Managers:


The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in achieving revenue goals by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, focusing on the B2B logistics market. This role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Planning:


- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the B2B logistics market.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

- Develop and implement sales processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.


Sales Team Leadership & Development:


- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.

- Set individual and team sales targets and track progress towards achieving them.

- Provide regular feedback and performance reviews to team members.

- Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their goals.


Client Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.

- Manage existing client accounts and identify opportunities for growth.

- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

- Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.


Sales Operations:


- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.

- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate data entry.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.


Logistics Expertise:


- Possess a strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management.

- Be able to effectively communicate logistics solutions to clients.

- Stay informed about new logistics technologies and trends.


Qualifications:


- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the logistics industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.

- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
