Key Responsibilities :
- Advising on Employee Relations issues and actively managing ER cases, including disciplinary issues, and investigations
- Guiding states in the preliminary investigations (fact findings), domestic enquiries, disciplinary process, punishments and conciliation matters
- Making strategy related to the labour cases being contested in various courts and implementing the same
- Facilitating execution of necessary compliance related frameworks, policies and changes
- Ensuring that all the compliances related to labour, industrial and employment laws are being followed
- Help create awareness of relevant laws and ER procedures and programs through formal training and communications.
- Responsible for Internal Controls (SOX and Company based controls), liaising with HR teams as appropriate on audit participation, status and action plan management.
- Serve as liaison to internal and external legal representation as needed.
- Maintaining dashboards, MIS and trackers related to compliances and legal cases
Must Have :
- handled disciplinary cases and domestic enquires
- Represented in conciliation cases
- Dealt in labour related legal cases in various courts and tribunals
- Candidates with strong experience in ER related activities at all India level
- Good knowledge of ER practices and philosophy
- Well versed with affirmative action programs and policies, labour, industrial and employment laws, compliance audits, non-competition and confidentiality agreements.
- Must be familiar with a wide array of different statutory and regulatory authorities in order to effectively and lawfully deal with company personnel.
