Position: Talent Management Head
Location : Bangalore, close to Devanahalli (Bangalore International Airport)
Experience Level: 16+ Years with at least 7+ years in Staffing or Resource Management
Requirement:
- A seasoned talent management professional with the capability of build rapport and provide confidence to Business & other functions on the ability to provide the right talent at the right time at the right cost.
- Develop talent fulfillment strategy, interfacing with multiple groups in order to execute an deliver on commitments.
- Satisfy employee aspirations through providing the right opportunity, considering their progression, rotation, skilling and onsite travel aspirations & competence
EXPERTISE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
1. Develop demand-supply model and talent strategy in line with Business demand
- Needs to possess the ability to absorb & appreciate inputs from business & account plans, together with forecasts & sales reviews as sources for creating a comprehensive talent fulfillment strategy for annual or quarterly talent demand.
- Experienced in arriving at internal fulfillment plan through strategic hiring, rotations, virtual pools and through planning progressions, cross-skilling, up-skilling, pyramid rationalization & fresher absorption.
- Provide timely and advance notice to recruitment teams with the correct priority to enable in-advance & on-time sourcing and minimize just-in-time hiring
2. Minimize Business Loss due to talent nonavailability
- Has executed strategic hiring to maximize internal fulfilments
- Has had the experience to set up talent processes and operational guidelines or has refined processes to enable demand fulfillment
- Experienced in planning & initiating immigration-related processes (visa applications, extensions, amendments, GC recommendations etc.) in alignment to onsite demands
3.Improve Manpower Margin and Utilization
- Assess and de-risk niche skill requirements through cross-skilling and strategic investments, thereby increasing internal fulfillment and controlling cost
- Ensure bench cost, absorption, grade mix, and latency is in line with targets
- Monitor hiring costs to ensure that the intake is in-line with the median target defined
- Apply levers to ensure that manpower P&L targets are met
- Ensure talent utilization is aligned with targets defined
- Ensure visas processed are utilized as per target
- Monitor span-of-control, average years of experience, non-billed resources, onsite-offshore ratio etc. as levers
4. Streamline talent operations
- Own talent-related processes and operations; define or refine to improve
- Data sanctity in the systems with respect to employee project, allocation, location etc. details
- On-time allocations & de-allocations in systems
- Timely routing of external requests to hire, in absence of in-house talent availability
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS & Dashboards are published and made available to all stakeholders
- Drive internal automation and innovation in the area of talent management
- Validate and ensure correct mix of new & existing resources in SEZ facilities
