JOB DESCRIPTION:


Chief of Staff | Executive Assistant to Group Chairman & Managing Director


Location: Dubai


Reports to: Chairman/Managing Director


Job Summary:


- The Chief of Staff | Executive Assistant to the Group Chairman & Managing Director is a highly strategic role that serves as an extension of the executive leadership team. This position is not just about support, it requires a proactive, analytical, and business-savvy professional who can drive decision-making, oversee cross-functional initiatives, and ensure operational alignment with corporate priorities.


- As a strategic partner and trusted advisor, the CoS/EA will play a crucial role in managing high-impact projects, optimizing executive workflows, and representing the Chairman/MD in key meetings and engagements. This role demands strong leadership, confidentiality, and problem-solving abilities to translate ideas into action and propel business success through strategic influence.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Partnership & Decision Support:


- Act as a sounding board and trusted advisor to the Chairman/MD, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.


- Lead and manage high-priority strategic projects that align with business objectives.


- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and financial assessments to support executive decision-making.


- Synthesize complex business challenges into actionable strategies and present them concisely.


- Anticipate business risks and propose mitigation strategies to the Chairman/MD.


2. Executive & Business Operations Management:


- Oversee and drive execution of key initiatives across departments, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.


- Optimize executive workflows, ensuring the Chairman/MD's time is spent on the most critical priorities.


- Monitor and track progress on strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability across teams.


- Ensure that decisions made by the Chairman/MD are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.


- Lead operational process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.


3. Cross-Functional Project & Stakeholder Management


- Act as a bridge between the Chairman/MD and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and execution of initiatives.


- Collaborate with department heads to streamline cross-functional projects and align them with executive priorities.


- Represent the Chairman/MD in meetings, negotiations, and discussions when necessary. Establish strong working relationships with board members, investors, government bodies, and strategic partners.


4. Leadership & People Management:


- Partner with senior leadership teams to drive key organizational goals and transformation initiatives.


- Provide guidance and oversight on high-impact projects that require executive involvement.


- Facilitate leadership meetings, setting agendas, documenting action points, and ensuring follow-through.


- Lead by influence, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and strategic thinking.


5. Governance, Compliance & Confidentiality:


- Ensure best practices in corporate governance, compliance, and risk management are adhered to.


- Handle highly sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.


- Draft, review, and oversee the execution of key corporate documents, agreements, and executive communications.


6. Crisis & Risk Management:


- Proactively identify risks that could impact business operations or executive decision-making.


- Support crisis management and rapid response planning for unforeseen challenges.


7. External Engagement & Public Relations:


- Represent the Chairman/MD at industry events, government meetings, and high-profile business engagements.


- Maintain strong networks with key industry players, regulators, and business leaders to drive corporate visibility and influence.


Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Management,


- Strategy, or a related field. IIM Graduates Preferred.


- 8-15 years of experience in a strategic advisory, Chief of Staff, or highlevel Executive Assistant role.


- Strong experience in corporate strategy, governance, and business operations.


- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving business outcomes.


- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.


- Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced, highpressure environment.


- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.


Preferred Skills:


- Experience in corporate finance, business development, or management consulting is a plus.


- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks related to the business.


- Strong analytical and research capabilities to support strategic decisionmaking.


Work Environment & Expectations:


- Flexible and high-demand role, requiring availability outside of standard working hours.


- Requires travel as needed for key business engagements.


- Operates with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and discretion.
