Assistant Manager- Legal
Role & responsibilities:
1. Proficiency in contract drafting and reviewing with keen awareness of best practices prevailing in commercial contracts regime.
2. Drafting and finalization of legal notices and replies, legal notes, briefs, pleadings, appeals, MOUs, contracts, Service Level Agreements across all business unit's and other deeds/documents.
3. Good understanding of company laws, corporate laws and principles of corporate governance.
4. Handling legal issues by providing legal advise and strategies in a day-to-day business operations.
5. Managing IPR portfolio and working on brand strategy of the company.
6. Prior experience or willingness to work in US regulatory norms.
7. Assist in the formulation, implementation and/or amendment of Company, department policies.
8. Legal research on corporate commercial laws, contract law, India and US regulations.
9. Advise on statutory compliances.
10. Handling Litigation
11. Excellent attention to detail is essential, open to learn and develop expertise in clean energy laws.
12. Co-ordination, follow-up and assistance to external counsels.
Preferred candidate profile:- Strong ability of drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
- Good understanding of corporate & commercial laws.
- Analytical & legal interpretation ability.
