Position: Senior Manager - Process Excellence and Audits
Department : Supply Chain & Logistics
Location : Taloja
Education : Ideal candidate: Industrial Engineering graduate with Six-sigma certification from reputed college, preferably NITIE, VJTI or 10 to 12 Years experience in Business Excellence
Experience :
- Supply Chain professional with 7-8 years of exposure to warehouse operations, Business excellence, Project life cycle management, contracting & project planning.
- Experience of building a large DC from concept to Go-Live.
- Experience from Automotive, Large 3PL organizations and e-commerce background who has exposure to smart warehousing process improvement and audits will be preferred.
Job Description :
- Be part of Setting-up & Core Team Managing and driving operations excellence and continuous improvement projects
- Process implementation, Change Management, Conduct KPI performance trend analysis
- Design and ensure successful implementation of business/ operations
- Energize teams and stakeholders, collect data, conduct diagnostic analysis, identify opportunities that positively impact quality, cost, delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction, and present action plan to management
- Select and implement need based and appropriate quality tools such as TQM, Quality Circles, Kaizen, 5-S, problem solving, statistical techniques and several other tools for continuous improvement.
- Create the necessary governance and review mechanisms to drive transactional quality
- Conduct KPI performance trend analysis, identify quality improvement opportunities, and drive improvement initiatives using the appropriate quality tools
- Identify opportunities for Quality Improvement projects; create a pipeline of improvement projects; provide necessary coaching and guidance to run these projects to deliver value additions.
- Process Re-Engineering to drive operations centricity, efficiency, effectiveness, agility & reliability in SCM.
- Identification & Resolution of key Business Challenges and enabling teams to address & manage the challenges to achieve Customer Satisfaction and Cost Optimization to maximize profit .
- Establishing & managing corporate infrastructure for Business Excellence which includes team capability
- Continuously improve existing process and help teams design new processes that are robust, effective, and efficient
- Managing Organization wide Training & Development of Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt
- Identify key Business Challenges and enabling teams to address & manage the challenges to achieve Customer Satisfaction, Profit Maximization & Cost Optimization.
- Stake Holders & Change Management to deploy To-Be efficient & Complaint Processes in all domains.
- Lead & mentor project teams thereby creating a value proposition for businesses through improved return on Investment.
Core Competencies
- Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma Black Belt, Warehouse Operations, Process analysis, adaptability to new systems understanding of specifications of warehouse equipments, storage Infra, electricals, Warehouse & Engineering layouts.
- Continuous process and quality improvement systems, design, develop and implement performance measuring reporting, Design SOPs, and process audits.
- Lead improvement initiatives by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams that deliver tangible business results through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools.
Skill Sets
- Supply Chain Orientation, warehouse operations, process, infrastructure specifications and understanding
- Provide thoughtful leadership and advice to management on process improvement and in developing transformational business cases
- Know-how of process mapping, process analysis, and detailed operations understating
- Gap analysis, designing SOPs, as-is and to-be
- Experience in capacity building templates for performance measuring reporting, and continuous improvement systems with good exposure to automation, WMS, TMS warehouse operations
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in Marathi, Hindi and English, as well as a strong credibility and integrity in this domain
