We at Skechers India , are hiring for the position of Senior Manager Commercials (Procurement) to be based at our New Distribution Centre, Taloja.

Department : Supply Chain & Logistics

Location : Taloja

Education : Commerce/Engineering Graduate + MBA (preferred)

Experience :

- Engineering graduate from reputed college with 10 to 12 Years core procurement experience in Supply Chain and warehouse capex understanding.

- Exposure to Procurement budgeting, Procurement life cycle management, contracting & project planning.

- Experience of building a large DC from concept to Go-Live.

Job Description

- Be part of Setting-up & Core Team Managing Procurement Cycle, Contracting & Commercials for NDC Project

- Commercials Lead for procurement and budgeting of all the capex and opex related Items for NDC Project

- Procurement life cycle management for the entire DC Set-up from Concept Design to Go-Live

- Management of the effective procurement process, such as PR, PO, Tender/Bid, Contract process, procurement SOP design

- Ensure Project Delivery on Time, within budgets and responsible for the overall design and management of an effective procurement process for warehousing and related projects

- Regularly collect, collate and analyse value for money parameters and recommend areas of efficiency

- Mobilize the Warehouse Infrastructure (MHEs, Racks, Electricals, Office Infra, IT Infra etc) / Automation Procurement

- Support Planning, Procurement, Erection, Commissioning & Go-Live of the Warehousing Automation

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support efficient management of supplies

- Work closely with the design & engineering, projects, and operations teams to understand their procurement and logistic needs

- Formulate / Oversee Planning & Scheduling activities with all vendors

Core Competencies:

Supply Chain Management, procurement budgeting, understanding of specifications of warehouse equipments, storage Infra, electricals, Warehouse & Engineering layouts.

Knowledge of complete procurement life cycle, contracting process and procurement SOP formulation, Project Planning & Execution, Exposure to Digital Procurement, Team Management, Logistics Management, Vendor Relations Management, P&L

Skill Sets:

- Supply Chain Orientation, warehouse infrastructure requirement and understanding

- Negotiations skills, know-how of market rate benchmarks and specifications understating

- Complete procurement life cycle management, contracting and designing SOPs

- Experience in capacity building of new vendors, specifications, and pricing models

- Vendor conflict management and issue resolutions

- Good exposure to digital procurement tools

- Ensure End to End Warehouse procurement completion, Infrastructure & Automation Delivery

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English, as well as a strong credibility and integrity in this domain
