Position: Senior Manager - Automation & Warehouse Control System(WCS)

Department : Supply Chain & Logistics

Location : Taloja

Education : Ideal candidate from Masters in computer applications, Mechatronics from reputed Engineering colleges with hands on experience in Automation Projects

Experience :

- Supply Chain professional with 10 years of exposure to Automated Warehouse setups, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and project planning.

- Experience of building a large DC from concept to Go-Live. Ideal candidate from Large 3PL Organizations and e-commerce who do warehouse turnkey projects

Job Description :

- Creating new software architecture while working within/on existing softwares, ERPs and new automation technologies

- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) as you will be interacting with various developers, analysts and project managers

- Identify and define problem statements, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

- Ability to look through database log files to troubleshoot software issues.

- Implement and improve remote monitoring tools for operations support systems (WMS. TMS. Etc)

- Engage with business/stakeholder as required to refine/clarify business requirements and feedback

- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical data and algorithms

- Conducts demonstrations and online trials of automation,

- Lead the creation, review, and submittal of technical support documentation update

- Optimizing applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades

- Engineering of hardware components that optimize data flows related to WMS, TMS, Warehouse Automation

- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures, as well as improving code and re-designing tasks

- Providing technical support and expertise to operations teams

- Automation applications testing, configuration, maintaining hardware, responding to operations queries and leading demonstrations

- Interact with the user to solve problems, augment the system functionality, and improve the user interface and provide application feasibilities and fast tracks as necessary

- Keeping detailed records of installations and hardware components where data interfaces are triggered

- Logging all technical specifications required to keep systems at peak performance

Core Competencies :

- Supply Chain Management, hands on experience for implementing automation technologies, WMS/TMS.

- Advance proficiency in programming languages, detail understanding of specifications of automation layouts, warehouse equipments, storage Infra, Project Planning & Execution, Exposure to Automated warehouses, Team Management,

Skill Sets :

- Supply Chain Orientation, warehouse infrastructure requirement and understanding

- Good understanding of warehouse operations, process and material flow

- Decision Making and Problem Solving: Able to act in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues

- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical data and algorithms

- Negotiations skills and good understanding of automation layouts and hardware

- Keeping detailed records of installations and hardware components where data interfaces are triggered

- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures, as well as improving code and re-designing tasks

- Identify and define problem statements, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
