Job Description:


Role Overview:


The Head of Learning & Development will play a critical role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees across the Skandhanshi Group's various verticals. The position involves creating a comprehensive curriculum for induction, on-the-job training, product training, and leveraging technology for an efficient Learning Management System (LMS). Additionally, the role includes responsibilities related to Mystery Audits, Look Book creation, Virtual Try On, and BCA analysis - with a focus on in-store technology training for the Store Staff.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Curriculum Development:


- Design and develop a structured curriculum for employee onboarding, including induction programs.


- Create training modules for 14-day on-the-job training and ongoing product training for all private label brands within the Skandhanshi Group.


2. LMS Management:


- Implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate online and offline training.


- Ensure the LMS is up-to-date, user-friendly, and accessible to all employees.


3. Training Techniques:


- Utilize technology to enhance learning and development (e.g., e-learning, webinars, and interactive modules).


- Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D techniques and make improvements as needed.


4. Mystery Audits:


- Implement and oversee a Mystery Audit program to assess and improve store staff performance.


- Develop action plans to address any identified issues or opportunities for improvement.


5. Look Book Creation:


- Develop Look Books, to guide store staff on creating make-up looks based on the seasons and festivities to increase the customer engagement, which will enable the staff to upsell and cross sell products.


6. In- store Technology training (Virtual try-on & Body composition Analysis):


- Lead initiatives related to virtual try-on technologies and ensure staff is trained to utilize them effectively.


- Work closely with IT team and Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools for virtual try-on experiences.


- Oversee Body Composition Analysis (BCA) training for store staff to enhance product recommendations and customer experiences.


7. Brand Partner Training: - Partner with the Brands Present in our retail store and organize trainings for store staff to enhance their product knowledge for enabling the right recommendations and enhance customer experiences.


8. Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, align learning strategies with business goals, and foster a culture of continuous learning.


9. Reporting and Analytics:


- Generate regular reports on the impact of training programs, tracking key performance indicators and making data-driven decisions.


10.Budget Management:


- Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-

effectively.


Qualifications:


- A bachelor's degree in B Tech Cosmetology or a related field.


- Proven experience in a leadership role within the Learning & Development field, especially in the

Retail/ or Beauty and Personal Care industry.


- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, curriculum development, and instructional design.


- Strong understanding of technology-driven L&D solutions.


- Excellent communication and presentation skills.


- Leadership and team management skills.


- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.


- Ability to adapt to changing market trends and technologies.
