Job Description:

Identification of Regulatory/Statutory Requirements:

- Research and identify regulatory and statutory requirements related to Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS).

Formalization and Implementation of Requirements:

- Develop actionable plans based on identified requirements and ensure their implementation as prescribed.

Review of Policies/Processes:

- Conduct thorough reviews of existing policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Minimize compliance risk through continuous assessment and improvement of policies and processes.

Ongoing Review and Monitoring:

- Regularly monitor the IT and IS departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

- Conduct ongoing reviews to identify any gaps or areas for improvement in compliance.

Timely Reporting:

- Ensure timely reporting of IT-related issues to relevant stakeholders such as the Board, Committees, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and CERT-IN (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team).

Qualifications and Skills:

- Knowledge of Regulatory Environment:

- Familiarity with regulatory and statutory requirements related to IT and IS.

- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines effectively.

- Policy Development and Implementation:

- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable plans.

Risk Management:

- Understanding of compliance risks associated with IT and IS.

- Ability to assess and mitigate compliance risks effectively.

Monitoring and Reporting:

- Proficiency in monitoring systems and processes to ensure compliance.

- Strong reporting skills to communicate IT-related issues to stakeholders.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to convey complex regulatory information clearly and effectively.

Analytical Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the organization.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Previous experience in IT compliance, risk management, or a related field preferred.
