Site Technical Manager - O&G

Looking for a Site Technical Manager for a Leading German MNC.

Industry Preference:- Chemicals/Specialty Chemicals/Petrochemicals/Agro Chemicals

Purpose of Job:-

- The Site Technical Manager is responsible for all technical matters at the Site (maintenance, investment, process technology, technical compliance, PCS); he is member of the Site Management Team and supports the Site Manager in the planning and execution of his tasks. He closely cooperates with the other members of the Site Management Team.

Major tasks and responsibilities:-

- Take responsibility for the technical integrity of the site exercise the functional leadership for the entire maintenance and engineering operation on site

- Install an efficient technical organizational structure, empower employees, and foster cooperation and teamwork

- Realize good practices on site and adherence to local, regulatory and Company's Directives/Guidelines

- Manage all technical matters according to local technical and legal or regulatory rules as well as policies and statutes of the companies on site

- Coordinate and assure uniformity in technical standards and technical operations on site

- Provide direction to and ensure efficiency of the technical functions on site

- Build an technical and constructional environment, which is minimum state of industry

- Manage asset reliability incl. uniform / joint spare part management

- Manage the maintenance budget; Holistic ABW-Budgeting und ABW-Controlling for entire site

- Take responsibility for the technical compliance and HSE compliant planning and execution of investment projects

- Manage asset obligations

- Manage the investment and related expense budget

- Manage the qualification and calibration activities

- Establish and keep the technical documentation in a compliant way

- Take responsibility for improving process technology continuity according to GMP, EU or country/regional requirements

- Provide the Site with Technical frame contracts. Promote global interfaces/best practice learnings.

- Promote/foster Engineering personnel /skill development

- Insure Engineering knowledge management on site

- Operate, maintain and optimize the utilities systems on site

Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences)

- University degree with a technical background, preferably Master or Bachelor Engineering degree

- App. 10 years of experience in related fields are required to fulfil the senior requirements of this position (project management, facility & asset management, technical services)

- Strong technical competence

- Sound leadership and communication skills

- Proven track record in effective project, quality, cost, and time management skills

- Fluent English language skills
