Site/Plant Controller - Chennai / Sricity

Qualified CA with 10+ years experience in Accounting & Controlling

Job Responsibilities:

Operations

- Ensure proper cost controlling and review mechanism (Control external costs & commitments with interfaces with Sourcing, Manufacturing, SCM & Indus teams)

- Set up adequate processes & KPI's to measure the activity and the services delivered on a periodic basis - Structure monthly function reviews & drive cost out actions

- Manage Other operational aspects (Site Efficiency, tax compliance & awareness, Budgets Vs Actuals monitoring, Export Incentives, etc)

Controlling :

- Manage the controlling of Sites & Depots. Rev. recognition in accordance with IFRS

- Set up operational rhythms with cross functional teams in Sites & manage along with Site MD's on presenting Site performance to India Management

- Drive Working Capital improvements (Inventory optimization, lead time reductions)

- Strengthen the controls on Inventory (Obso reserve, stock count, workorder closure)

- Partner with Tax & SCM teams to improve the Customs & GST governance

- Drive Balance Sheet reviews with GFSS, Operations & Reporting teams

- Lead the Group and Statutory audit process relating to the Unit

- Jointly work with Site MD in bringing Internal Controls awareness across factory

- Manage the monthly closing & reporting process for the Unit

Management Reviews :

- Drive the entire budget exercise for the Site along with Site MD's (Operations, expansion, CAPEX expansions, etc.)

- Monthly reviews to review KPIs, operational performance, dashboards, tax compliance,Actuals Vs Budgets monitoring, etc

- Drive Periodic Sales & Cash reviews with Operations Teams
